We are the neighborhood association for Omaha's Miller Park - Minne Lusa area. During the more than 50 years we have been serving the Omaha community, our organization has grown to become one of the city's most active; pursuing neighborhood improvements, working to make our streets safer, engaging the community, fostering neighborhood togetherness, and enjoying the good life.
Regular events we're involved in include Fun in the Park, Second Saturday, organizing an annual golf tournament, youth mentorship, neighborhood beautification and improvement projects, the Restore Omaha conference, and organizing our neighborhood's nationally acclaimed 'Trick-or-treat on the Boo-levard'. A major highlight of our efforts was landing National Historic District designation for our beautiful Minne Lusa Boulevard area. But we're not stopping there! We're always looking forward to the next project that will make our neighborhood an even better place to live.
The neighborhood association and our citizen patrol normally hold meetings the first Thursday evening of the month at the Miller Park pavilion (east side of 30th St. between Redick and Kansas). All meetings are open to the public, so please attend if you'd like to join, or would simply like more information about what is happening in the neighborhood. For the current schedule, please see our calendar.
We don't require members to have other affiliations or memberships, but we do ask our members for support through participation in our activities. Voluntary annual dues are $10 for an individual or $15 for a family. Dues-paying members have voting privileges in neighborhood association decisions and prioritization of its community service efforts. 100% of dues support neighborhood association efforts, and therefore our neighborhood it serves. You don't have to live in the Miller Park area to be a member. Our meetings are open to the public and anyone interested in our neighborhood can join.
We are always looking for new members!
